Seagate Contract Management is a commercial interior construction company specializing in office, medical, legal, and tenant improvement projects throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Our portfolio includes corporate offices, medical clinics, professional services firms, and tenant improvement projects across the Edmonton region.

We are growing and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. This role offers exposure to all phases of commercial construction, close collaboration with experienced Project Managers, and a clear path toward a future Project Manager role.

About the Role

As a Project Coordinator, you will support Project Managers in delivering commercial construction projects by coordinating documentation, tracking financials, and maintaining communication between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Issue and track subcontracts and purchase orders

  • Maintain change order logs

  • Track RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings

  • Manage project correspondence and document control

  • Prepare meeting minutes and distribute action items

  • Coordinate project closeout, including O&M manuals

  • Maintain accurate project filing systems

 

Financial Support

  • Assist with monthly progress billings

  • Track committed costs, budgets, and expenditures

  • Maintain change logs and project financial tracking

  • Follow up on subcontractor and supplier pricing

  • Support forecasting and reporting activities

 

Scheduling & Project Support

  • Coordinate meetings, site visits, and communications

  • Assist in maintaining project schedules

  • Track permits, inspections, and milestones

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, landlords, and trades

  • Support successful delivery of active projects

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Required

  • 2–5 years of construction industry experience

  • Experience in commercial interior construction, including:

    • Office renovations

    • Medical facilities

    • Legal offices

    • Tenant improvements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document control systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional communication with clients, consultants, and trades

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

 

Preferred

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business, or related field

  • Experience with construction management software

  • Long-term interest in progressing into a Project Manager role

 

Working Conditions

  • Full-time in-office role (Edmonton, AB)

  • Site visits and travel to project locations as required

  • Regular presence on active construction sites (PPE required)

  • Occasional after-hours communication to support project needs

Carpenters

SITE SUPERVISOR

Seagate is looking for a working COMMERCIAL INTERIOR SITE SUPERVISOR to join our team!

Site Supervisor will be required to:

  • Manage all on-site duties and subtrades, scheduling

  • Communicate the responsibilities to all site employees

  • Ongoing communication with Project Manager regarding progress of job conditions and issues

  • Ensure quality of work

  • Complete reports and safety documentation

Experience & Requirements:

  • Commercial Interior Experience a MUST

  • Supervisory Experience

  • Extensive Finish Carpentry an asset
